Elite Force EF126

Elite force EF126

Intro
The Elite Force EF126 is a one handed folding knife.
Blade
Its spear point blade length measures at 104mm, the total length of this knife 230mm and its weight is 109grams. The blade is made from 440c Stainless steel.

Handle
This knife comes with a 13.5 cm textured aluminium handle with metal liners for even more strength and is of the liner lock design. It has the Elite Force branding on the left hand side and a black pocket clip on the right hand side.

Uses
This knife has really been designed for CQB so if you’re serving in the military in a hot zone it might be worth considering the elite force front line resolution EF126. It’s also a nice knife for those of you who like to collect military styled knives because of its purposeful tactical looks. This knife has a one handed fast flipper opening; it’s slim and sits well in a pocket and it also ideal to attach to load carrying equipment with its strong clip. So if you’re serving in the military or would just like to add to your collection, I recommend you take a look at this tactical knife

Opinion
My personal opinion on this knife is it’s been designed for CQB and really isn’t useful as an every day knife, I wouldn’t use this knife for shooting or fishing and trekking, but if you’re a knife collector and you’re looking for a knife with heavy tactical looks this really is a nice knife to consider for display.

Walther TFKII

Walther Pro TFKII

This every day companion is a two handed opening knife with a liner lock mechanism It has a modern design and can be used as an every day carrier knife, which would make a fantastic utility knife.

Blade
The Walther Pro TFK2 has a spear point 12c27 Sandvic steel blade and is titanium grey coated. It holds the Walther branding on the side of the blade as well as the on the handle. Its blade length is 78mm, the overall knife length is 177mm and it weighs 126grams

Handle
Like most of the Walther Pro range is comes with a rubberised G10 Handle for added grip and comfort and this particular knife for me has an excellent hold and feels just the right weight. It’s not too bulky or heavy and is really well balanced.

Features
again like most other Pro range knives; it has a removable pin for ease of maintenance which is a really cool feature because if you’re a little bit OCD (like myself) at keeping your gear spotless, this function is really useful!

Uses
Being an EDC, this knife can offer so many uses, it is definitely an ‘all-rounder’ , I’d carry this in the car and then in the holster on my belt when leaving the vehicle in case I needed to use this knife in an emergency situation, I’d use it when on a camping trip and I’d without a doubt take it to the woods and on hunting/fishing trips. The possibilities are pretty much endless and I would most likely use this knife in my kitchen because it’s incredibly versatile holding a razors edge.

Opinions
When looking over this knife for the first time, I was particularly impressed with the build quality, and have so far have been overwhelmed with the all of the Pro range that Walther produce, which I have on loan from Armex I have said it before and will say this again, the attention to detail is outstanding, nothing looks or feels cheap, the overall quality of these blades are so impressive to look at and ready to be used from the get go.
My opinion on this knife is 5 stars, it’s lightweight, perfect hold, easy to use, easy to maintain, an EDC and above all, has a fantastic durable blade which will keep its edge and do the job at hand. What’s more, it comes in the aluminium presentational box along with the nylon belt pouch to keep it safe and securely put away.

Walther PPX knife

Walther PPX
(black & sand)

This knife takes design ques from the Walther PPX pistol – If you’re familiar with this pistol, it has the same textured grip as the pistol and some of the designs that are put into thee grip are also on the pistol as well.

Blade
The blades on these knives are 8.7cm long and the overall length of the knife is 20cm
The blade is really nicely parkerised  black with the Walther branding on the side.
The blade itself  is a mix between spear point and drop point, it’s partially serrated which is great for cutting through para chord, thick rope, cardboard and all those harder materials.
They come with a flipper stud for right handed people and for those of you lefties also too.
The blade itself has a slight curve down to it which I think would be suited really well to be used as a skinning knife. The blade has no play in it, which is really nice cause you can sometimes get a bit of free play on other knives. The blade is a liner lock which you see on most other knives. The blades come razor sharp and it’s a really nice looking blade.

Handle
The handle comes in a really attractive desert color which I really like, it has that modern military look to it, which I’m a big fan of. It also comes in black
The handle is fiberglass with a synthetic overlay and comes with metal liners for added strength, Walther have tested this material in cold conditions and hot conditions, and it stood up to these harsh conditions really well.
Its very grippy and has a really nice recess which directs your thumb straight onto the flipper stud, really cool feature! - It just means if you’re out at night and you need to open this knife in the dark, it just naturally guides your thumb.

The clip comes already attached to the knife but if you prefer to take it off you can, the clip is also iodized black, what I like about this clip is it does have a bit of spring to it, so it you’re using this clip on your pocket when you pull this knife out, it’s not going to be a trouser wrecker like on some other knives I’ve used in the past.
There’s also a hole so if you want to pop some para chord through to make yourself a wrist lanyard.

What I like about this knife, it has an expensive feel to it, it feels well made, just the right weight!

This knife also comes with an extremely durable well made knife pouch which also has the Walther branding on it, it has a belt loop on the back and all of this comes in a really nice presentation case.

So if you’re gifting this knife to somebody, it looks really presentable and expensive.  Or if you’re a collector of knives, it’s just a really nice tool to own!
Such an attractive box to keep it in too.

I genuinely really like this knife, and if I was out hiking, or out hunting it is definitely one I would consider putting into my backpack.

Walther PPQ and Micro PPQ

Walther PPQ

Like the famous PPQ pistol series, both the PPQ and micro PPQ knives have a polymer high-grip surface finish on the handles which were inspired by the PPQ pistols designs. Both pistols and the knives have a positive reputation for being grippy, giving you a firm and secure hold in the hand in any situation. When holding this knife for the first time, I was impressed with its balance first of all.

Blade
The blade has an anthracite coating and is a spear point made of 440 stainless steel.
It has a liner lock mechanism and once flipped open, has a really solid hold with no give. The overall length of the knife is 223m, the length of the blade is 95mm and the weight of this knife is 140grams.

Handle
As I stated above, the handle is made of a polymer high-grip surface which has been ergonomically designed to naturally weld to the hand.
One great feature I really love is the flipper on the side of the knife, making this knife a one-handed opener which permits the knife to be open single handily preventing any injuries to the fingers.
The flipper once the blade is opened is then used as a protector to stop your fingers slipping onto the blade but if that wasn’t enough, there is also a thumb groove towards the back of the blade to guide your thumb to the correct hold, so I love the fact that unless you go out of your way to stick your thumb on the blade which we can all agree would not only hurt but would be hugely irresponsible, this knife has been very carefully thought out to prevent you from injuring yourself while this blade is in use!

Uses
This is a general purpose knife ideal for hunting, fishing and trekking and it comes with the nylon belt pouch so is ideal for carrying on your belt using the horizontal or vertical belt loops on the pouch. It comes in a well presented box, ideal as gift for any occasion for anyone who collects or simply needs a new and practical blade.

Opinion
I’ve owned this knife for 6 months now, it’s my knife of choice when camping or hunting and I found it to be an extremely strong work horse! Even when it’s been covered in grime and dirt, it’s just a simple wash out under a tap and a quick lube, then it’s good to go again, it’s been so easy to maintain. I found the coating on the blade to be extremely durable and even after heavy use a quick oily rag gets this knife looking new again!
I’ve enjoyed using this blade and without a doubt it has been one of the most heavily used from my collection.

Walther Micro PPQ

The micro PPQ knife is 48mm and is made of 440 high performance stainless steel, it is black coated with the Walther trade to the side.
It has to be opened using both hands but the nail groove makes this easy and smooth to open.
It has a liner lock giving you that added strength and safety.
Although this knife is compact, it is not to be mistaken as a novelty knife, it may be small but it hold all the same features as a standard lock knife.
This micro knife features a stainless steel loop where you can thread Para chord through and perhaps hang it with a flint and fire starting kit.
The great thing about micro lockers is…if you’re out in the wild and you’re teamed with a knife like this, add a flint to this micro knife and it could potentially save your life in a survival situation. This is why survivalists are hopping on board and becoming big fans of these micro knives. They are discreet and easy to use whilst holding many of the same features as a large knife!

Walther Multi Tac Pro

Walther Multi Tac Pro

Once you have the Walther Multi Tac Pro in hand, you'll wonder what you ever did without one. A relative, who is a member of the armed forces, turned up last week and I asked him of his thoughts on this knife, so he spent some time really looking over the features and said it would an excellent knife to carry on tour because everything this knife offers are things he and fellow soldiers need! Hi praise indeed from someone who has done a tour in Afghanistan and has also served in Africa and Canada.

Blade
The spear point, liner lock Blade is made from a 12C27 Sandvik steel which is more than capable for even the toughest of jobs. The overall length of the knife 195mm and the blade length is 80mm, it weighs 236 grams which for a multi-tool is really quite reasonable. Not too weighty!

Handle
Its rubberized G10 handle ensures a very firm and non slip grip, with added comfort and protection.

Some of the features that come with this knife are - 3 in 1 universal pliers with a compression force up to 56kg. A Screwdriver which is magnetized, so you simply flip it out put the magnetized extension on then you have a choice of 8 different fittings, being 3 cross head screwdriver bits, 3 flat heads and 3 Allan key bits.
It also features scissors, a bottle opener come file, belt cutter, and glass breaker made of tungsten carbide. I’d like to point out and highly recommend though, that the blade is closed whilst taking out any of the other tools on this knife just to prevent injury as it can be quite fiddly, but obviously you won’t be using all of the features all at the same time.
The Holster comes with vertical and horizontal belt loops packed in a quality aluminium box.
This is such a great all-rounder, perfect for taking out on a longer trip or camping holiday.
